Hoske, Control Engineering<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>New power supply products insights<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wago 2587 Base Power Supply is said to offer reliable, efficient performance with front wiring along with Wago Push-in Cage Clamp connections for tool-free setup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wago 2587 Base Power Supply target markets are machine builders, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), process industry end user, system integrators and panel builders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wago 2587 Base Power Supply is part of a Wago power supply family that includes Wago IoT-ready Pro 2 power boost power supply (high-end on and Wago Eco 2 series (mid-range).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wago Base Power Supply series is said to offer reliable, efficient performance with front wiring along with Wago Push-in Cage Clamp connections for tool-free setup. It is described as having a compact, metal housing and a wide temperature range of -30\u00b0C to +70\u00b0C. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wago.com\/us\/f\/base-power-supply\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wago Base Power Supply 2587<\/a> is a switched-mode power supply; 1-phase with 24 VDC output voltage and a DC-OK LED. Details were described in a new product news conference at the Wago North American headquarters, Germantown, Wisconsin, Feb. 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three output current are available. Wago IoT-ready Pro 2 power boost power supply is a high-end offering. Wago Eco 2 series is for mid-range applications with 95% efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lubrow also offered more about the Wago 2587 Base Power Supply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Wago 2587 Base Power Supply includes CE and UL OrdLoc certifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It can operate to -40\u00b0C, but the Wago Cage Clamp should only be operated to -30\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It has a compact design. Specific applications might include semiconductor (cleaning section, glue coating and developing section), railway infrastructure (asset monitoring, turnstile and tickets) and new energy implementations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it became available in mid-2024 in Asia, Lubrow said, the 2587 now has North American approvals. Wago has received positive feedback to date on this power supply, described as a low-cost, high-volume product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mark T.
