PI North America<\/a> has launched Where to Buy, a resource that allows control engineers, production machine designers, and automated factories to find distributors of PROFIBUS<\/a>, PROFINET<\/a>, IO-Link<\/a>, and omlox<\/a>-enabled products from PI North America members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one of the most common requests we get, \u2018Where can I acquire this particular product?\u2019\u201d says Michael Bowne, executive director, PI North America. \u201cWe have a diverse membership base, including distributors of automation products. And now we have a one-stop shop to get those requests into their hands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Where to Buy resource adds to the monthly new product announcements in the PROFINEWS newsletter and on profinews.com<\/a>, where automation device manufacturers provide information on new products. PROFINEWS informs readers about products from across the PI members, but the time between selection and purchase can be lengthy. This resource helps North American customers find products when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since automation products often require consultation with suppliers, the Where to Buy page helps users to find their local contact. They can access the distributor\u2019s line card and obtain information on products, availability, and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
