Schneider Electric<\/a> has launched an innovation center in Houston. The opening of the center coincides with Schneider Electric\u2019s strategic partnership at CERAWeek, an event focused on energy, the environment, and climate issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schneider Electric has opened a 10,500 square feet facility as part of its ongoing U.S. investments and previously announced \u20ac2 billion investment<\/a> for 2024\u20132027 period. This investment aims to address increasing demand for digitalization, automation, and manufacturing. Across the U.S., Schneider Electric is experiencing increased customer demand for solutions in industrial automation, digitalization, energy efficiency, and grid resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in Houston\u2019s \u201denergy corridor,\u201c the innovation center supports collaboration and technological advancements across the entire value chain. It operates alongside Schneider\u2019s existing innovation hubs in Paris, Singapore, and Bangalore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting Scheider\u2019s range of solutions, the facility will function as a training center for process control engineers, production superintendents, manufacturing managers, technical leads, and plant operations personnel to learn how systems are engineered and utilized. A control room will simulate Schneider\u2019s systems in industrial environments, including refineries, combined-cycle power plants, ethylene plants, recovery boilers, and chemical reactors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The site\u2019s capabilities will be enhanced over time through the integration of research and development from Schneider\u2019s energy-focused business units, along with the incorporation of AI applications to advance industrial automation. The facility will provide workforce training and technology to support evolving industry needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schneider Electric has operated in the U.S. for over 135 years, employing more than 21,000 people nationwide. The company partners with approximately 40 percent of Fortune 500 companies. In Texas, it employs more than 4,100 people\u2014more than any other U.S. state\u2014and operates major facilities in El Paso, the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and other locations. Its products are used in four of 10 U.S. homes; 40 percent of the world’s hospitals, and 40,000 water and wastewater installations in 150 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company was ranked among Glassdoor\u2019s Best Places to Work 2025 and recognized as a 2025 Gold Military Friendly employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
