{"id":131140,"date":"2025-06-09T04:38:16","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T09:38:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.controleng.com\/?p=131140"},"modified":"2025-06-09T23:44:42","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T04:44:42","slug":"new-leader-to-head-global-control-systems-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.controleng.com\/new-leader-to-head-global-control-systems-group\/","title":{"rendered":"New leader to head global control systems group"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.controlsys.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Control System Integrators Association (CSIA)<\/a>&nbsp;board of directors has appointed&nbsp;Adrienne Meyer as the association\u2019s new chief executive officer, effective&nbsp;June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meyer succeeds\u00a0Jose M. Rivera, who, as previously announced, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.controleng.com\/control-system-industry-leader-to-step-down-after-decade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stepping down after a decade of leadership<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1994, the CSIA is a nonprofit global trade association focused on the control system integration industry. Control system integrators apply engineering, technical, and business skills to help manufacturers and others automate industrial equipment and systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meyer has worked at ODVA, Inc. for over 21 years, most recently serving as vice president of operations and membership at its headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan headquarters. ODVA&nbsp;(formerly Open DeviceNet Vendors Association, Inc.) is a global trade and standards organization whose members supply devices for industrial automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to welcome Adrienne Meyer as the CEO of CSIA,\u201d said Karen Griffin, CSIA board of directors chair. \u201cAdrienne brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective that will serve our members and mission well in the years ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want to thank the board and the transition subcommittee for their thoughtful and diligent work throughout the search and selection process. And to Jose\u2014thank you for your decade of unrelenting commitment and leadership at CSIA, and for your gracious support in ensuring a seamless and successful transition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meyer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a bachelor&#8217;s degree (BA) in history from&nbsp;the University of Michigan.
